The NIAC aspires, through all sports, including football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, etc., to enable players to realize their full potential by providing them an opportunity to pursue their passions and utilize their gifts. The objective is not only to enable them to play sports at the high school level, but to train and prepare them for collegiate success. We strongly emphasize that education is essential. We strive to help them become strong and productive members of our society as they enter early adulthood. The goal is to create an opportunity for a sanctioned playoff for independent schools, as well as college exposure for its student-athletes.
The NIAC is an alliance of independent schools spanning across the country. These members, realizing the benefits for our athletes of uniting around our athletic goals, shall strive to promote and administer athletic competitions that will enhance the development of our students and the relationships among the member teams.
